Today we have the pleasure of joining the crew at First Coast Living to do a segment on Entertaining your Guests for Tailgating. Below are some of the tips we encourage you to remember when hosting a tailgate and this week, the Jaguars are hosting Pittsburgh, so beer brats it is. Check out this great recipe. I made them myself and know it’s an easy and successful recipe. Wishing you a great tailgate and GO JAGS!
Monica’s Tailgate Tips:
- Arrive Early
- Bring a Tent to identify your space, protect your food
- Folding tables and disposable tablecloths (make for easy cleanup)
- Sports chairs
- Food & Drinks (make it potluck so that you aren’t responsible for everything)
- Tailgate Supply Bin: Plastic Forks, Knives, Spoons, Paper Towels, Plates, Cups, Wipes, Trash Bags, Toothpicks, Extra Serving Utensils, Condiments, Extra Trays, Real Knives, Cutting Board, Barbecue Utensils, Ziploc bags, Aluminum/Plastic Wrap, Wine/Bottle Openers
Don’t forget sunscreen in sunny FLA – it’s hot here through October. Cuzi’s are a nice touch and some games (corn hole, a football, frisbee) or music are a good addition. And in case a guest eats too much, some antacid might be a good thing to throw in your bin.
